Patrick T. Gatmaitan, MD is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgery with Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, FL. Dr. Gatmaitan uses minimally invasive surgery to provide personalized weight loss surgery options including laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. He also performs laparoscopic gastrointestinal operations including treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatal hernia repair, gallbladder removal, appendectomy among others.

Dr. Gatmaitan is an excellent surgeon. He made me feel very relaxed and comfortable with the process from day one. He still, to this day, makes me feel great at every appointment. I really appreciate his professionalism!
